Sony has launched its flagship device called Sony Xperia XZ Premium. The highlight of this phone is its 4K HDR Display and Motion Eye camera that comes with a memory stacked Exmor RS sensor that provides 5x faster image scanning. The camera supports 4K Video recording, Predictive Capture, Ant-distortion shutter and it can record 960fps slow-mo videos, making playback 4 times slower than is possible in any other powerful smartphone. Sony has also upgraded its Bionz image processing engine with better motion detection and noise reduction It is also possible to up-scale streamed tracks or MP3s to near High-res quality with the presence of Sony’s native DSEE HX technology. One can also play Play Station 4 games on the smartphone. Oher important features are that the device is water resistant, supports QuickCharge 3.0 technology and comes with a USB Type-C (USB 3.1) port.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium Smartphone was launched in February 2017, comes with a 5.5-inch 4K Triluminos HDR display with a resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels at a pixel density of 801 pixels per inch. The screen is also protected by a Corning Gorilla Glass Scratch Resistant display.
The phone is 7.9-mm thin , and tips the scale at 191 grams. The phone is powered by a 1.9 GHz Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor and it comes with 4 GB of RAM. What this means is the processor has Octa cores in the CPU and 4 GB of RAM ensures the phone runs smoothly with multiple applications open simultaneously. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium also packs in a graphics processor, and 64 GB of internal storage which can be expanded to 256 GB via a microSD card.
